Pam leads the Investment and Industry rōpu (group) at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, the region’s cultural and economic development agency. The organisation supports the region’s priority sectors, and works with employers, entrepreneurs, investors and training providers to ensure Auckland has the skills, jobs and industries it needs for equitable prosperity, increased global competitiveness and a resilient, low-carbon future.
Pam has worked in economic development and international trade and investment since 2001, in central and local government roles. Prior to this, she worked as an international marketing professional in private and not for profit sectors.
Pam received the Economic Development New Zealand (EDNZ) Commendation for Distinguished Service Award in 2018 and since June 2019 has been the Chair of EDNZ, the body representing all New Zealand economic development agencies.
Auckland joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2017, and Pam co-chairs the Auckland City of Music steering group.
